Ahead of Saturday’s deadline, here is what you should consider doing if you have yet to make your transfers or changes to your team for Gameweek 11.

Stand-out fixtures to focus on

Brighton versus Manchester City should be a fixture to watch closely. The current Premier League champions are going into this match, having lost three in a row, so they will want to turn things around. Brighton will want to damage Manchester City even more so we can see an open game.

The first Sunday match between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford may see the start of a positive turnaround for the home side. However, a win for the Foxes would see them overtake Manchester United in the league table and put the Red Devils in a very uncomfortable position.

Another Sunday fixture between Tottenham and Ipswich is another to focus on. Tottenham are very strong when at home, having won four out of five games this season, whereas Ipswich are still winless and have only picked up two points so far.

Top players to pick

Manchester United’s midfield maestro, Bruno Fernandes, is a player expected to get some returns this weekend. Fernandes has 4 goal involvements in his last three games in all competitions, 2 of those being goals against Leicester in the Carabao Cup so that we may see a repeat on Sunday.

Despite Bournemouth beating Manchester City at home last weekend, they travel to Brentford ahead of Gameweek 11. Bryan Mbuemo will be on many people’s teams, but if you do not, it could be worth trying to fit him in. Mbuemo has scored seven goals at home this season; therefore, his form should not be ignored.

Dominic Solanke was in fine form in Gameweek 10 against Aston Villa, and FPL managers should hope to see the same this weekend against winless Ipswich. Solanke scored a huge 16 points in the fixture against Villa, scoring twice, getting an assist and three bonus points.

Honourable mentions

Wolverhampton Wanderers stars Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri are a fun duo to consider as they face Southampton at home in a huge fixture at the bottom of the table. Despite being the only other winless side, alongside Ipswich, Wolves defender Ait-Nouri has an impressive four attacking returns this season. As for Cuhna, he has five goals and will most certainly want to score for the second time in three games.

Chris Wood deserves a mention as he is in the top five for most points scored in FPL this season and is joint second, with Bryan Mbuemo, for most goals scored, with 8. With a home fixture against Newcastle United next, Wood hopes to get on the scoresheet against his former side.
