‘Hate those guys’ – Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams aim brutal digs at Packers after stunning playoff win

The Chicago Bears have finally downed the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.

Chicago, led by second year quarterback Caleb Williams, overcame a late 18-point deficit to stun Green Bay in an NFC Wild Card game at Soldier Field on Saturday night.

It marked the Bears’ first postseason victory in the NFL‘s oldest rivalry since December 1941, days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and keeps them on course for Super Bowl LX.

To add to a historic night, their comeback was the biggest in franchise playoff history, and just the fourth time a team has won after trailing by 15 or more points in the fourth quarter of a postseason game.

It’s fair to say that both Williams, and head coach Ben Johnson, were in a mood to party afterwards.

Ben Johnson takes aim at Packers with locker room speech

In the hours that followed victory the Bears — who could soon move out of Soldier Field — posted a number of celebratory videos on social media, including one that showed their first-year HC delivering a rousing postgame speech.

Surrounded by his players in the locker room, Johnson praised Chicago for handling the immense pressure on the night, and even aimed a brutal dig at Green Bay.

“Hell yeah!” he shouted, as he paced around.

“F*** the Packers! F*** them! I f***ing hate those guys.

“You go into the tournament off of two losses, you look up at halftime in this game and it’s 21-3. No panic.

“No f***ing panic. Built for pressure, that’s you guys! And that’s the first one. That’s the first one. That’s what we had to do.”

Johnson, who was involved in a heated postgame handshake with Packers coach Matt LaFleur, then handed out game balls to tight end Colston Loveland, defensive end Montez Sweat and Williams.

The young quarterback accepted his prize, and offered some words of his own.

“I said last night: Make your money in the regular season… in the postseason, (make your) legacy, your name,” Williams said.

“I want to keep going. We have to f***ing get better. I want to be here, I want to do this with y’all. It starts tomorrow.”

Outside of the locker room, Williams was even more jubilant.

Caleb Williams rips Packers by grating cheese on live broadcast

As he sat down with Prime Video to discuss the big win, Chicago’s QB was handed a big cheese grater hat, which he wasted no time in putting on.

Former NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick then put a real grater and a block of cheese in front of Williams.

He picked both up, and started shredding cheese for the cameras, signifying what the Bears had just done to the Packers on the field.

“This is what rivalries are made of!” Super Bowl XLVIII champion Richard Sherman said, watching the chaos unfold as Williams did his best impression of Salt Bae at the desk.

During his postgame press conference, Williams took further delight in mocking Green Bay.

“Caleb, Ben (Johnson) mentioned that he heard the noise from the Packers leading up to this weekend. Do you notice that? Is that something you took exception to, or motivation from?” one reporter asked him.

When asked what message the Bears have sent the Packers this season, Williams added: “We’re here, and we’re going to be here for a while. That’s my plan.”

For the first time since 2010, Chicago has won a playoff game.
