Everton vs Leeds United betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice for Monday night clash
Everton enjoyed their most impressive win of the season last time out, winning 1-0 at title-challenging Aston Villa to perhaps announce their own European ambitions.
David Moyes’ men may now be 10th in the Premier League standings, but they are only four points behind Liverpool in fourth and are looking up rather than down.
Something similar could be said of Monday night opponents Leeds United, who have looked a different beast since switching formation in what looked like a rout at Manchester City and they are closer to the Toffees than the relegation zone.

Everton – Leeds United Tips
Whites can double up on Toffees
Leeds’ away record doesn’t make for good reading, given that they have won just once on their travels in the league and that was at rock-bottom Wolves back in September.
However, there have been much more positive signs of late, and they can complete the double over an Everton side they beat in their campaign opener.
Daniel Farke’s men have picked up positive results at Liverpool, Sunderland and Brentford since giving City an almighty scare at the Etihad, while they were only beaten at St James’ Park by two-stoppage-time Newcastle goals, having led 3-2.
The Toffees have won only two of their last eight games and both were on the road and Leeds can chalk up a rare away success to banish any relegation fears further.
The Whites have since won at Derby to progress in the FA Cup and enjoyed a confidence-boosting win over Fulham in preparation for their first venture to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
And Everton’s recent struggles at home should give the visitors confidence on Monday, with the Toffees having failed to win any of their last four at the stadium, which includes a 4-2 thrashing at the hands of another poor-travelling side in Brentford and a 1-1 draw with Wolves.
Card magnet Ampadu to collect another
While both teams go into Monday’s contest on the back of excellent wins, it is hardly likely to be a free-flowing encounter and the tackles will be flying in as each team tries to assert their dominance.
Ethan Ampadu will be leading from the front for the visitors and it would be far from a surprise if he overstepped the mark once again.
The Leeds skipper has been cautioned nearly double the amount of his nearest team-mate with seven yellow cards in 19 Premier League appearances, with three of those have come in his last three league games. Another here seems highly likely.
Tarkowski can take a shot in revenge mission
James Tarkowski looks overpriced to have a shot in a game that looks likely to see a lot of set-pieces and he can try his luck, having become much more involved in an attacking sense of late.
The two-cap England defender has had seven shots in his last five games for Everton, with at least one in each of those with the exception of the 1-1 draw with Wolves, in which there were of course extenuating circumstances with his side finishing that game with nine men.
Tarkowski is a chief target for Everton in dead-ball situations and he should be doubly motivated, having controversially conceded the late penalty that resulted in Leeds winning the season-opener at Elland Road.
