Enzo Fernandez must ‘shut up’ over Real Madrid transfer – he’s nowhere near good enough
Gabby Agbonlahor has told Enzo Fernandez to ‘shut up’ and focus on helping Chelsea instead of discussing a potential summer switch.
Fernandez has fuelled rumours he could leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid this week, admitting that he’d like to live in the Spanish capital.

The midfielder has previously appeared to cast doubt over his Chelsea future, with the LaLiga giants touted as his next rumoured destination.
Following the Champions League defeat to PSG, the former Benfica man couldn’t confirm he’d be at the club next season.
“I don’t know. There are eight games left and the FA Cup,” Fernandez said. “There’s the World Cup and then we’ll see.”
The Argentina international also appeared to criticise the board for their decision to allow Enzo Maresca to leave in January.
And in a recent interview with Argentine online personality Marcos Giles, Fernandez discussed the possibility of one day living in Madrid.
When asked if he could live in another country, the Blues midfielder said: “I really like Madrid – it’s similar to Buenos Aires.”
When pressed on whether he could live in Madrid, Fernandez replied: “Yes, of course.”
talkSPORT understands that Fernandez would be open to a move to the Spanish giants this summer, though Los Blancos are yet to make a formal offer for the Chelsea man.
Fernandez’s future was brought up on talkSPORT Breakfast on Thursday as Agbonlahor, Ally McCoist and Angelina Kelly discussed the 2022 World Cup winner.
“If he doesn’t want to be there, it’s very, very difficult for the manager or the players to want somebody like that in the dressing room who could potentially be a rotten apple,” McCoist began.

“There are a few players who go away on international duty who think these comments won’t get back to their mother clubs.”
Agbonlahor then added that Real Madrid wouldn’t be paying a nine-figure sum for the Chelsea star.
Are you Fer real?
“I’ll tell you something though Ally and Angelina – Real Madrid aren’t paying £100million for Enzo Fernandez, I’ll tell you that now,” Agbonlahor added.
“So you better shut up, unless you want to go to Atletico Madrid, I’d shut up, be quiet, and help your team get back into the Champions League.”
McCoist then posed the question: “Is he getting into that Real Madrid team?”
Agbonlahor replied: “No. No. No Ally.”

Kelly then stated: “I don’t think he is.”
McCoist agreed with both Agbanlahor and Kelly, stating: “I don’t think they’re at their best this Real Madrid team.
“I still think they’re one of, if not the, biggest club in the world, but I don’t see him getting into that team at the moment.”
Fernandez ‘not a £107m player’
Kelly then continued that she has spoken with talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs about Fernandez, and thrown a potential spanner in the works over a potential switch.
“And you’ve also got to think about the amount of money. I spoke to Ben Jacobs about this a few weeks ago and he said they’d want to be making a profit off the £107mi they spent on him,” Kelly said.
“And if you think about it, Real Madrid, since they got stung by that Eden Hazard transfer, Jude Bellingham is the only player that they’ve spent over £100mi on, so it’s not like they do it quite often.”

Agbonlahor then stated: “I do like Enzo Fernandez, but I don’t think he’s a £107m player, I really don’t.”
McCoist agreed, adding: “No chance. I think they’d do well to get their money back. I don’t see it happening at this stage.
“He’s made it clear with his comments that he’d welcome a move, but you’ve got to earn it and I don’t think he’s going the right way about it either.
“If you’re Liam Rosenior, or even the bosses down at Chelsea, even your teammates to a certain degree, I don’t think they’ll be happy the way you’ve gone about it.”
