England signed off in their final home game before the World Cup with a 1-0 defeat to Japan at Wembley.
Thomas Tuchel handed several players chances to impress ahead of selecting his World Cup squad, but they failed to do so.
The only goal of the game came in the first half as Cole Palmer lost possession, and from there, Japan broke forward with Kaoru Mitoma finishing off a fine move.
