Someday after Tulane landed former Huge Ten quarterback Brendan Sullivan within the switch portal, suspended sign caller TJ Finley entered the portal on Friday morning.
Tulane was the fifth college for Finley, who was disciplined earlier this month after an arrest for alleged unlawful possession of stolen objects value greater than $25,000. A truck Finley allegedly was driving had the license plate of a stolen car in Atlanta.
Finley’s lawyer stated the Ponchatoula, La., native was a sufferer of a web-based rip-off and was unaware the car was stolen. He made a purchase order by way of a social media market, in keeping with attorneys.
Tulane suspended Finley indefinitely after the arrest.
Finley is due in courtroom on June 1 in New Orleans.
Finley has performed one season at LSU, two at Auburn and one apiece at Texas State and Western Kentucky. He transferred to Tulane in December.
Finley has handed for six,128 yards, 37 touchdowns and 20 interceptions throughout his school profession. His most efficient season was in 2023 when he handed for 3,439 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
On Thursday, Tulane acquired a dedication from Sullivan, who previously performed for Northwestern and Iowa.
Sullivan handed for 475 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed for 150 yards and 4 touchdowns final season in his lone marketing campaign with the Hawkeyes.
