The school quarterback carousel continues to show, with two quarterbacks asserting their selections to move west.
Alex Orji, who began three video games at Michigan in 2024, stated Saturday he’ll play at UNLV.
E.J. Warner, a three-year starter with Temple (2022-23) and Rice (2024), will give Fresno State a veteran presence on the place. He’s the son of Professional Soccer Corridor of Fame member Kurt Warner.
Orji appeared in 11 video games this season at Michigan, throwing for 150 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He was benched in an Oct. 5 loss to Washington and did not begin once more for the Wolverines.
At UNLV, he’ll play for brand spanking new coach Dan Mullen and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis.
“It felt like an awesome alternative to exit to Vegas with Coach Mullen and Coach Dennis,” Orji advised ESPN. “It is a possibility to domesticate profitable tradition.”
He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Warner has performed in 32 faculty video games, finishing 60 % (796 of 1,327) of his go makes an attempt for 8,814 yards with 58 touchdowns and 37 interceptions. Final season at Rice, his completion charge was 62 % for two,710 yards whereas throwing 17 landing passes with 13 interceptions.
Between Temple and Rice, Warner led the American Athletic Convention in interceptions in every of his three seasons.
