The Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach Taylor Jenkins on Friday regardless of the membership’s 44-29 document.
The Grizzlies entered the day tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the fifth-best document within the Western Convention.
Jenkins, 40, has compiled a 250-214 document with three playoff appearances since being employed in June 2019.
“I am genuinely appreciative of Taylor’s contributions to this crew and this metropolis over the previous six seasons,” Grizzlies president and basic supervisor Zach Kleiman mentioned in an announcement. “This was a tough choice, given the constant and tangible growth of our gamers and general success beneath Taylor’s management.
