Darts player kisses toy goat moments before claiming first ever Tour Card in emotional scenes
Darts player Samuel Price has bagged a PDC Tour Card for the remainder of 2026, and before he did it, he kissed a toy goat.
The 32-year-old has never held a PDC Tour Card, but after a close win over Lewis Pride at the Arena MK, he has one of the few coveted spots.

It was very close for Price, who survived a match dart before nailing double five in the decider.
And before the winning throw, he was spotted kissing a miniature toy goat, which had been given to him by his two-year-old son before going to Milton Keynes.
Speaking after the emotional win, he said: “It’s not got a name. [My son is] going to be three years old next week, while I’m at Challenge Tour. Thankfully, now, I can actually see him on his third birthday.
“He gave it to me before I came yesterday and he wished me luck.
“Do you know what? I think I kissed it before I threw that double five. It went in. He gave it to me yesterday morning and the rest is history.”
It was nearly very different for Price, who just missed out on the final stage and automatic qualification.
His route to his PDC Tour Card saw him beat George Killington in a decider.
Derek Coulson was next, and he averaged 102 as Price won.
Ex-World Youth Champion Arron Monk stood in Price’s way as well, but he was seen off, as was Stephen Burton before the showdown with Pride.
A long week for Price, but it’s all worth it.

“I’m lost for words. This is a dream. I just made my dream come true,” he added.
“I’ve never felt so much pressure in my life. I felt like I played well. I had a couple of good averages.”
What else happened?
It was a great week for Charlie Manby as he also gained an automatic Pro Tour Card.
The Yorkshireman impressed at the PDC World Darts Championship, falling one win short of sealing his Tour Card then, losing to finalist Gian van Veen.
But he’s done it the hard way at Q-School, and he’s very excited about the future.
Speaking to the PDC website, he said: “It feels amazing, I think all the hard work has finally paid off.

“Going into every day at Q-School, you want to win it outright anyway. Whether it’s the first day or the last day, it doesn’t matter – winning a day puts a bit of a statement out there.
“On the first day I didn’t struggle, but I was trying to deal with it all. I played well and lost – it was a bit heart-breaking, the same as the second day. It was a lot to take in, but I knew I had the ability to do it, and the last couple of days have showed that.”
He has been joined by Jeffrey de Zwaan and Sietse Lap on the European side of the draw.
Also earning a Tour Card is Mervyn King, who celebrates his achievement less than a year after being declared bankrupt.
Fallon Sherrock lost four matches in a row to miss out on a Tour Card, leaving Beau Greaves as the only female on the Pro Tour in 2026.
It was also bad news for Simon Whitlock, who has lost his card and won’t be at the World Cup.
