Clean shaven Turki Alalshikh looks completely unrecognisable without beard

Turki Alalshikh has become one of the most prominent and recognisable faces in the sport of boxing in recent years.

But in a new social media post on Friday, he appeared on camera with a completely different look and left some fans shocked.

Saudi billionaire Alalshikh usually dons a full black beard and moustache, along with his dark-tinted glasses.

Those glasses were still on when the boxing chief recorded a video message for his followers on X.

But something else was missing… his beard.

The video shows Alalshikh sitting on a sofa and speaking to the camera, giving information about the latest Riyadh Season event.

However, he appeared clean-shaven, which is a rare look for the 44-year-old, with some boxing fans reacting.

One boxing fanatic wrote: “Turk, where the facial hair gone, lad?”

Another posted: “Looking fresh without the beard.”

“You cleaned up well, bro,” another said in reply to the video.

Meanwhile, a less enthusiastic fan wrote: “Bring back the beard.”

Alalshikh builds up to huge event

Alashikh appeared on his social media to promote his boxing card that will be taking place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

One of the best boxers of this generation, Naoya Inoue, will be headlining in a fight against Alan Picasso.

The 31-0 four-weight world champion takes centre stage in a huge event including many Japanese stars.

Willibaldo Garcia vs Kenshiro Teraji and Junto Nakatani vs Sebastian Hernandez Reyes are two of the other leading bouts.

In his video posted on Friday, Alashikh said: “Tomorrow, the fight will start at 12pm (local time / 9am in the UK) at the Mohamed Abdo Arena.

“Don’t miss it. The strongest card in Japanese history. Japan is against the world. Good luck. See you there.”
