The Green Bay Packers had arguably the greatest pure passer the game has ever seen.
Aaron Rodgers was unique in terms of accuracy, and he could make every throw in the book, regardless of the angle.
The MVP quarterback made a living by bringing the best out of his receivers, even when he didn’t have a lot of help.
That’s why there were so many doubts about whether Jordan Love could replace him.
He wasn’t a highly touted prospect, and the Packers’ decision to take him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft was surprising, especially with Rodgers there.
Love did a great job of learning from one of the all-time greats, and teammate Christian Watson now sees some of those things from his current QB.
“You definitely kind of see flashes of [Aaron Rodgers] here and there. I think [Jordan’s] done a really good job of kind of making it his own, incorporating little things here and there. I definitely see some flashes sometimes, for sure,” Watson said.

Love certainly took some pages out of Rodgers’ book.
He has imitated his signature sidearm throws, and he’s become a master at drawing the defense offside and making the most of a free play with explosive throws.
Of course, he has a long way to go to come close to Rodgers’ accomplishments.
But he’s making strides this season.
In fact, he might finally be duplicating one of Rodgers’ best attributes, as he’s taking much better care of the football.
The student will try to defeat the master in Week 8 when the Packers visit Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers on “Sunday Night Football.”
