Burnley vs Manchester United LIVE commentary: Kick-off time, team news and how to watch clash following Amorim axe
Manchester United will begin the post-Ruben Amorim era away to Burnley this week.
The Red Devils sacked Amorim on Monday with Darren Fletcher set to take temporary charge at Turf Moor.

And it would seem Burnley are the prefect opponent for Fletcher with United having lost just one of their last 19 meetings with the Clarets.
On that occasion, Burnley claimed a 2-0 win at Old Trafford in January 2020.
However, Scott Parker’s side are currently winless in their last 11 Premier League matches after losing to Brighton on Sunday.
It leaves the newly-promoted outfit six points from safety in 19th, although they can leapfrog West Ham with a win.
As for United, Amorim has departed following their draw with Leeds which left them sixth in the table and behind Chelsea on goal difference.
A return to winning ways against Burnley could see the visitors move into the top four, though.
The reverse fixture in August saw United claim a 3-2 home victory thanks to a 97th minute penalty from Bruno Fernandes.

Axel Tuanzebe remains on international duty with DR Congo, who are in last 16 action on Tuesday.
As for injuries, Maxime Esteve may return after missing the defeat to Brighton.
The visit of United will come too soon for Zian Flemming and Joe Worrall, though.
Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts, Zeki Amdouni and Josh Cullen are all long-term absentees.
United’s interim boss Darren Fletcher will be without Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui, who all remain at AFCON.

Bruno Fernandes is not expected to feature, with his comeback likely to come against Brighton in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Burnley vs Man United: What’s been said?
Parker was asked if he believes he is still the right man for the job following Burnley’s 11th match without a win.
In response, he explained: “That’s out of my hands. I have the utmost support from the ownership, from everyone at the football club.
“Of course, we’re all frustrated at the moment, of course we are. But I’m fully committed and I feel like everyone at the football club is as well really.”
Amorim was giving his marching orders early on Monday morning.
United said in a statement: “Ruben Amorim has departed his role as Head Coach of Manchester United.
“Ruben was appointed in November 2024 and led the team to a UEFA Europa League Final in Bilbao in May.
“With Manchester United sitting sixth in the Premier League, the club’s leadership has reluctantly made the decision that it is the right time to make a change. This will give the team the best opportunity of the highest possible Premier League finish.
“The club would like to thank Ruben for his contribution to the club and wishes him well for the future.”
