After suffering a grotesque elbow injury, Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels received some unique advice from former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.
Speaking on the Get Got podcast, Lynch claimed that Daniels needs “to start going to j**k off,” doubling down that he has “got to be ambidextrous when it comes to beating that motherf****r.”
It's unknown whether or not Daniels will actually take this advice to heart. If nothing else, it was certainly unique and likely very different from what he has been told by medical professionals.
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels' elbow injury

During the Commanders' Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Daniels suffered an injury before halftime. He was trying to break his fall after tripping, causing his elbow to be dislocated.
He will be out for some time, but it doesn't sound like he will need surgery to repair his elbow. That means that he will be back at some point before the season ends.
In his place will be Marcus Mariota, who was previously selected with the second pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He threw for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders' Week 2 loss after coming in for Daniels.
He has been with the Commanders for three seasons. Mariota played in 11 games (starting eight of them) in 2025 due to injuries suffered by Daniels.
Hopefully, Daniels is able to return to the lineup sooner rather than later. He was off to a good start to his third year in the league after a sophomore slump. He had thrown for three touchdowns without any turnovers before he got hurt.
Daniels started his career with over 4,000 scrimmage yards and scoring 31 touchdowns (25 passing and six rushing). The Commanders made it to the NFC Championship Game, losing to the eventual champion Philadelphia Eagles, in his rookie season.
