Popular WWE veteran Nattie, aka Natalya, recently underwent a major character shift. Last year, in early 2026, Natalya embraced the gimmick “Lowkey Legend” and changed her name to Nattie. Following this major change, she has been portraying a heel character on television and has been active across WWE, NXT, AAA, and GCW.

Now portraying a no-nonsense character on television, she has received comparisons to Ronda Rousey. The gimmick has drawn comparisons to Rousey because of Nattie’s stiffer offense and more technical wrestling style.

Recently speaking to The Toronto Sun, Nattie responded to her character's Ronda Rousey comparisons and brushed them aside. “I remember Michael Hayes saying to me backstage, he was like, ‘It’s really important that people understand the change.

“Like, why did you go from being Natalya for 18-ish years, and now all of a sudden you’re Nattie?’ I said to Michael, I was like, for me, and hopefully I’ll get a chance to explain this more on WWE programming in the near future, but for me, it’s not like… it’s not like I’m trying to reenact, like I’m trying to do an MMA character, for example. It’s not like some people are like, oh, she’s just trying to be like Ronda Rousey. It’s like, no, I love Ronda, and I think Ronda did really cool work in WWE, but I feel like my character is still evolving and growing,” she added. (via Fightful)

Nattie was recently active at AAA Triplemania 34, where she fought against Roxanne Perez, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra for a shot at the Reina de Reinas Championship.
