Shortly before the Sep. 18 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes' tour bus was involved in a car accident.
A picture has surfaced (via Sportskeedia and FadeAwayMedia) of Rhodes' tour bus as it was stopped on the side of the road in Texas (SmackDown takes place in Corpus Christi on Sep. 18). Another car that is damaged on the side is behind the tour bus. It is severely dented on the right side, and first responders are seen looking at it.

The âÂÂAmerican Nightmareâ has not commented yet on the alleged accident on social media. Hopefully, all parties involved were okay.
Will Cody Rhodes be on WWE SmackDown after his bus got into an accident?

Rhodes is still listed as one of the six advertised Superstars for the Sep. 18 edition of SmackDown. CM Punk, Gunther, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, and Trick Williams are also slated to appear.
Barring anything drastic, fans should still expect to see the âÂÂAmerican Nightmareâ on SmackDown. He is the face of the brand, and he rarely misses time.
He is currently feuding with his former mentor, Randy Orton. Rhodes and Orton faced at WrestleMania 42 for the Undisputed WWE Championship, with the âÂÂAmerican Nightmareâ retaining.
A few months later, the âÂÂViperâ would return and reignite his feud with Rhodes. Since they last fought, the âÂÂAmerican Nightmareâ lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Sami Zayn at Night of Champions. He would then challenge CM Punk for the title at SummerSlam, losing because of a returning Orton.
They would have another match at Sunday Night's Main Event on Sep. 6. This time, Rhodes lost to Orton. Now, they are tied 1-1 in their series.
Since coming back to WWE in 2022, Rhodes has become one of the faces of the company. âÂÂQB1â has won two Royal Rumbles and three Undisputed WWE Championships since 2022.
