These days, it is increasingly rare to see a title change during an untelevised WWE house show, but that wasn't the case when Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer faced off for the Women's World Championship in Chile.

During a house show in Santiago, Chile, on Saturday, Sep. 12, 2026, the final stop on the South America tour, Vaquer defeated Morgan to regain the Women's World Championship. She, of course, is from San Fernando, Chile, making it a special win.

Becky Lynch served as the special guest referee of the bout. She got involved late in the match, helping “La Primera” pick up the victory.

The crowd went bananas for Vaquer as she pinned Morgan. Videos from the event show how special the moment was for everyone involved. Morgan even appears to embrace Vaquer after the pinfall.

Vaquer and Morgan have been feuding for the last few months over the title. Morgan won the 2026 Royal Rumble, earning a championship match at WrestleMania 42.

She chose to go after Vaquer, who was the Women's World Champion at the time. At WrestleMania 42, the Royal Rumble winner picked up the victory to win her third Women's World Championship.

“La Primera” would go on a lengthy hiatus, returning during the Aug. 3 edition of Monday Night RAW. She attacked Morgan and had a stare-down with Lynch. She would then challenge Morgan for the title during the Sep. 7 edition of RAW, losing thanks to Judgment Day's Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

Vaquer would only have to wait a few days to get another shot. Now, she is Women's World Champion for a second time, thanks to Lynch. We'll see if they end up having a match in the near future.

In her short main roster career, Vaquer has already won two Women's World Championships. She defeated Iyo Sky to win the vacant title at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025.
