There are many college football analysts who believe the ACC runs through Miami (FL) this season. Miami after all made the College Football Playoff in 2025, before losing to Indiana in the national championship game. On Saturday, college football commentator Kirk Herbstreit gave his pick for Miami's biggest threat in that conference.
Herbstreit is a big fan of the Louisville Cardinals football team.
“Ever since I watched them play against Ole Miss in that opener….I walked out of there thinking this team is for real,” Herbstreit said on ESPN's College GameDay show. “…They are going to be around.”

Louisville currently has a 2-1 record on the season. The team's only loss is to SEC power Ole Miss. Louisville also has wins over SMU and Villanova.
