Over the weekend, the Baltimore Ravens moved to 4-1 with an impressive road victory over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime. The Ravens played this game with Tyler Huntley at quarterback as Lamar Jackson continues to work his way back from an ankle injury suffered two weeks ago in a win vs the Tennessee Titans.

Jackson didn't practice on Wednesday ahead of this weekend's game on the road vs the Cleveland Browns, and now, head coach Jesse Minter has spoken after that development.

“He's definitely day-to-day. I think a lot of the time with those things, right when they happen, you're not sure, and as you gather information, you look at stuff. Again, to Lamar's credit, he's working his butt off. He's doing everything he can to be out here, and when he's able to be, then he will,” said Minter, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.

Jackson had been enjoying a strong start to the season for the Ravens, who are one blown lead against the New Orleans Saints away from being a perfect 5-0 so far in 2026.

The Ravens, as expected, leaned heavily on Derrick Henry and the running game on Sunday night against the Falcons, although Huntley stepped up and orchestrated an impressive march down the field with the game on the line to force the contest into overtime, where the Ravens eventually found a way to win.

The Ravens will understandably want to be cautious with Jackson moving forward, especially after his season last year was partially derailed by a lingering hamstring issue.

In any case, the Ravens and Browns are slated to kick things off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET from Cleveland.
