Joe Burrow has been dealing with a back injury throughout the week leading up to the Cincinnati Bengals' matchup against the Houston Texans. With the game set to kick off at 1 p.m. EST, reports reveal what the 29-year-old quarterback said about his situation to NFL insider Jay Glazer.

Burrow needed just two words to describe how he felt on Sunday morning before kickoff. He informed Glazer that his back injury is now in the rearview mirror, which means the Bengals can expect the seven-year veteran to play without any concerns.

“Bengals QB Joe Burrow texted Jay Glazer that all the talk about his back injury this week has been completely blown out of proportion,” the report said.

“Totally good,” Burrow said to Glazer via text message.

Outside of one interception, the three-time Pro Bowler looked solid in the club's 33-27 Week 1 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He finished the home opener with 254 passing yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his pass attempts. Cincinnati will want Burrow to put up equal to or better numbers on Sunday against the Texans.
