Star running back Aaron Jones recently took part in the Minnesota Vikings practice as they gear up for Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season.

Jones started the 10th season of his career, his third with the Vikings. He stands out as one of the high-quality rushers in the league, but he has been sharing reps with Jordan Mason in Minnesota's attack.

However, Mason going to the injured reserve has elevated Jones to the top running back spot once again. When healthy, the veteran running back can break out for big plays on the ground, keeping opponents on their heels.

Mason initially was absent in practice earlier this week, dealing with a knee issue. Despite this, he finally returned to practice on Thursday, albeit in a limited capacity. Minnesota revealed his activity and seven other players regarding their practice availability on Wednesday and Thursday.
