Travis Kelce is taking wife Taylor Swift back to his childhood state of Ohio.

The power couple recently purchased a 21,000-square-foot mansion in Bratenahl.

“Getting Tay back to Cleveland and showing her my roots is always something I love doing,” Kelce said in his New Heights podcast.

Many residents of the lakeside Cleveland neighborhood were probably delighted to welcome the celebs to their area.

But the couple caused a stir when filing for a permit to extend the fence that surrounds their $5million pad.

Some of the locals are reportedly worried that the new border will block their views of Lake Erie as part of the newlyweds' bid for privacy.

A source close to the couple told DeuxMoi that they met neighbors to discuss their proposal.

Originally, the fence was due to extend all the way to the beach but a permit was rejected.

Bratenahl Mayor Keith Benjamin then stepped up to say that a balance could be struck between keeping long-term residents happy and making sure Swift and Kelce have adequate security.

“We’re used to this in Bratenahl,” he told The New York Times. “Being a welcoming community includes giving people the space to be at home, whether they’re an average resident or the most famous person in the world.”

James Salisbury -- the creator of Salisbury steak, actor Jim Bacus, and former Cardinals owner Helene Hathaway Robison Britton are among the famous inhabitants.

“We take pride in being a welcoming community where people can feel connected to their lives and also feel comfortable enjoying their private lives,” Mayor Benjamin told News 5. “You know, part of being a good neighbor is offering a warm welcome and also giving people the privacy and the space to simply be at home — no matter who lives next door.”

Kansas City Chiefs icon Kelce returned for the 2026 season amid reports he could walk off into the sunset with his new bride.

"I'm still kind of sitting here like I don't want to let this thing go. he told Good Morning America. "I want to keep playing until the wheels fall off, I always say,

"I still have the desire to go out there and compete, and I still think I can compete at a high level.

"I love this game so much that, you know, I'm I'm not ready to you know go into that next phase yet."

Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes begin their season with a Monday Night Football showdown against the Denver Broncos.

With Mahomes coming off a major knee injury, he will need his old friend at his very best and the only fence Kelce will be worrying about if a formidable Broncos defense.
