The NFL slate for Week 8 is just about ready to kick off, with several key matchups taking place in the early 1:00 pm ET window. Tom Brady will be on the call for a huge NFC North showdown between the Detroit Lions and the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, which is set to take place in the Motor City.

During an interview pregame, Brady participated in an interview with the FOX Sports studio crew, including former adversary and now-fellow analyst Drew Brees.

At one point, while trying to guess the correct answer to a trivia question, Brady accidentally let a curse word slip through on live television.

It was the second time this season that Brady has cursed live on air, as he previously let the same word slip out when reacting to an injury from Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

However, the executives at FOX have proven to have an exceptionally long leash with Brady over his first couple of years in the booth, as they gave him plenty of leeway to build off his shaky start to his announcing career after immediately making him a part of the network's A-team.

Meanwhile, Brady is in Detroit for the second straight week to call a Lions game, having called Detroit's narrow home victory over the Green Bay Packers last week. Sunday's game will be a big opportunity for the Lions to continue to gain ground in the NFC North race, and also to hand the Vikings their first loss of the season, as they currently sit as the only undefeated NFL team remaining.

In any case, kickoff between the Lions and Vikings is set for 1:00 pm ET from Detroit.
