The Tennessee Titans have not had a great start to the 2026 NFL season. Tennessee hoped they could take a step forward under new head coach Robert Saleh. However, this has not happened. Questions about Saleh's future with the franchise are starting to be asked as well.
The Titans enter Week 6 without a win, sitting at 0-5 on the season. Quarterback Cam Ward has struggled, and he has not taken the big step forward the franchise expected from the second-year signal caller. Despite all of this, the team remains steadfast in its belief in Saleh and his staff.
“I personally feel a sense of stability,” Tennessee CEO Burke Nihill told ESPN on Friday. “I believe that Mike Borgonzi and Robert Saleh are ultimately going to get this team out of the woods and restore it to competitive football. The train is on the tracks. It just hasn't picked up momentum, but it will.”
Tennessee is one of three teams without a win in 2026. The Titans have had some close games and could have taken a game or two with some different decisions. Overall, though, they didn't do enough to win those close games. Outside of that, they have also been destroyed by some of their other opponents.

Saleh and the Titans have a chance to clinch their first win of the season on Sunday when they take on the Indianapolis Colts.
