The Los Angeles Rams pulled off a huge win Week 4. LA stunned Philadelphia in a comeback victory that could end up saving their entire season. One Rams insider explained that one crucial moment may have been the catalyst that turned everything around.
ESPN's Lindsey Thiry called out one fiery moment from head coach Sean McVay that sparked the impressive fourth quarter comeback.
“Yeah, I definitely think this is really helpful. And the moment I think we will all look back on if the Rams go on the run that they're expected to go on is Sean McVay gathering that offense around,” Thiry said on Tuesday via Good Morning Football. “… He was proving as the head coach what he's always preaching to his players and they needed something to really get them going. And you don't really see that from Sean McVay. You don't see him get the entire offense around in the middle of the game and get after them like that. But he did and it clearly sparked a change in that team.”
The Rams were down 20-10 throughout the entire third quarter. During the closing seconds of the quarter, McVay gathered his entire offense together and rallied the troops. He clearly did not want the Rams to get another loss after falling apart against the Broncos the week before.
McVay is not known for giving fiery sideline speeches. Instead he lets his innovative offensive scheme and perfect recall do the talking. Perhaps that's why the bold display landed so cleanly with his team.

Now the Rams are back on track at 2-2 and feel more energized than ever before. If the Rams do make a deep playoff run this season, that moment could be remembered as the start of it all.
“I think that will be a really pivotal moment in their season,” Thiry concluded.
Next up for the Rams is a huge Week 5 matchup against the Bills. This epic Monday Night Football showdown kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Oct. 12 from SoFi Stadium.
