The Texas football team dropped a heartbreaker recently to Florida, in SEC play. Texas quarterback Arch Manning reportedly couldn't hold back the emotion after the loss. He also channeled it to help his Longhorns win a big game on Saturday over Ole Miss.
“Arch Manning said he was “damn near balling, crying” at his parents’ house on Sunday. Emotional week for the Texas QB1. He capped it with his seventh career ranked win,” On3 reported on X, formerly Twitter.
Manning told reporters after his Texas team won on Saturday that he was playing with something to prove.
“I had a chip on my shoulder all week…I kind of like being disregarded,” Manning said.
