The No. 1 Texas Longhorns walk out of Neyland Stadium with a 20-17 win over the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers. It was a close contest throughout, but the Longhorns prevailed in the end, largely thanks to the defense, and Arch Manning let everyone know about it.

Manning shrugged off any credit when ESPN's Holley Rowe reminded him about how big of a game this was for his family. The redshirt senior admitted his performance was lackluster and gave his teammates a shoutout. Especially linebacker Colin Simmons, who had a monster game against Tennessee.

“It was fun. I like that we battled the whole time,” Manning said. “Shoutout to our defense. Colin Simmons, that's a real player right there… It's not about me. I didn't play very well. But our team played great; defense played well. SEC road win, that's what it's all about.”
