As the Houston Texans lost a tight game to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, 36-31, the team is looking to potentially add to its defense, as a former first-round pick went on a visit to the team on Tuesday. After Josh Allen and the Bills dominated the Bills' defense, the team is looking to add as much talent as possible, especially since linebacker Henry To'oTo'o is expected to be out with a shoulder injury.

According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, aside from To'oTo'o's injury leading him to be absent for the foreseeable future, Houston is hosting linebacker Kenneth Murray for a visit after playing most of the season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2025.

“The Texans hosted LB Kenneth Murray on a visit today. The former first-round pick started 16 games for the Cowboys last season. Houston LB Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury,” Garafolo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Visit is ongoing for Murray,” Garafolo continued. “Could wind up signing in Houston.”

Murray is a six-year veteran in the NFL. After playing one season with Dallas, he played with the Tennessee Titans in 2024 and started his professional career with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2020 to 2023. The 27-year-old linebacker was the 23rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, selected by the Chargers, coming out of Oklahoma.

At any rate, it remains to be seen if the Texans officially bring Murray to the team, as the franchise prepares to bounce back from the Week 1 loss with Sunday's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
