The Chiefs and Colts have gone back and forth for an entertaining first half, with Indianapolis carrying a 20-17 lead at halftime.
Jonathan Taylor has paced the offense with 74 yards rushing through two quarters, including a 24-yard touchdown run late in the second period.
The Colts have also been able to take advantage of Kansas City penalties, as five have been assessed for 66 yards on the home team.
Daniel Jones is 10-of-16 for 76 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Jonesâ pick led to the Chiefsâ first touchdown, with Travis Kelce scoring his first TD of the year on a 13-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes ended the first half 14-of-19 for 138 yards with two touchdowns. Rashee Rice had two catches for 46 yards to lead the team. Kelce has three receptions for 29 yards with a TD.
Running back Kenneth Walker has 39 yards on six carries, along with two receptions for 17 yards.
The Colts are 3-of-6 on third down while the Chiefs are 0-of-3.
On the injury front, Colts receiver Alec Pierce exited the game with a heel injury and has been ruled out. ItâÂÂs the same heel he had surgically repaired during the offseason.
The Chiefs will receive the second-half kickoff.
