Things recently got heated at Yankee Stadium during the New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. Popular filmmaker Spike Lee was having a meal at Yankee Stadium before the game against the Red Sox when a fan ended up antagonizing him.
Lee is a massive Knicks and Yankees fan. Displaying his support for the team, he was recently present at the Yankees game, who were taking on their arch-rival Boston Red Sox in Game 2 of the Wild Card Round.
Footage shared by Fox Sports correspondent Andy Slater is currently going viral on social media. The video captured Spike Lee being held back by security while he tried to confront a fan. According to Slater, who spoke to people sitting close to both parties, the fan was recording Lee during his meal and even tried to question him about his political stance and support for Palestine.
While many online argued that Lee's reaction was a little extreme, it should also be noted that the fan interfered in Lee's private space and tried to invade his privacy. Lee believed his privacy was being invaded and took action when the fan started questioning his political views.

Who asks a dumb a** question while simply trying to enjoy his meal and have fun for the game?” another person questioned. “Interrupting Spike mid-meal with that question is wild,” wrote another person.
Fortunately, nothing wild came out of the confrontation, as Lee was physically held back and taken to another area of the hospitality section. Meanwhile, the security visible in the video was seen asking the person to leave. Lee later got to attend the game.
