The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks have been the topic of discussion this week, and it's not because of what they're doing on the field to start the season. Head coach Mike Macdonald was caught on video talking about a time when Sean Payton was mad at him after he assumed they had somebody watching them practice. Apparently, that clip of Macdonald talking about it was never supposed to get out, and he apologized earlier in the week for the mishap.
Payton shared his sentiments about the entire situation, and instead of having anger towards the situation, he says that it made the Broncos better in a sense.
“Talking with [John Schneider], it allowed us to figure out how to handle our training camp relative to just videos, and I don't think anything was intentional by fans. At first, you're kind of thinking, ‘How?' Then we did some research online of what was available, and that's kind of how we changed our policy,” Payton said.

That's good for the Broncos, and it must've worked to some extent after seeing the success they were able to have last season, just falling one game short of making the Super Bowl.
Macdonald said during his apology that he reached out to Payton.
“It's something that I didn't intend for public use,” Macdonald said. “I thought it was the most appropriate thing to reach out to Sean and really just apologize to him. And honestly, I've got to be better in that moment for understanding that I'm responsible for what I say no matter the circumstance. Whether if you're mic'd up or not.”
The good news is that it seems like everything is cleared up, and it doesn't have to be brought up again. Both coaches have said their piece, and now it's time to go on with this season.
