Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams secured their second win of the season with a dramatic victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4. However, the emotional ending quickly became controversial after a Rams coach appeared to give angry Eagles fans the finger from their box, prompting McVay to send a strong message about the incident.
McVay recently addressed the viral video and admitted that his team can be emotionally invested and celebrate big moments, but there are better ways to show those emotions without crossing the line.
“We'll learn from that. We'll be better. Those fans are really into it, but I know that we want to make sure that we're representing the class and just the calm steadiness that we want to have while also being emotionally into it. And there's ways that we can have that reflected,” McVay said via Jeff Skversky.
McVay also revealed that the Rams have already addressed the situation internally.
“We did talk about it, and that won't be an issue moving forward,” McVay added.

The Eagles’ inability to protect a 10-point lead entering the final quarter made the loss even more painful, while the Rams’ late comeback transformed what appeared to be a Philadelphia victory into a dramatic road win for Los Angeles.
Hence, emotions were understandably running high on both sides. The Rams were celebrating a dramatic win, while Eagles fans around the visiting team’s box were visibly frustrated after watching their team surrender its fourth-quarter advantage.
The Rams’ players and coaches certainly had plenty of reasons to celebrate after completing such a crucial comeback. However, the excitement of the victory appeared to spill over into the stands, and such a gesture from a member of the coaching staff was understandably unexpected and quickly drew attention.
However, the dramatic victory moved the Rams to a 2-2 record on the season. In Week 5, Los Angeles will face the 3-1 Buffalo Bills.
