The Seattle Seahawks will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.

The Seahawks' backs are against the wall, entering this game with a 3-3 record. The Chiefs boast a perfect 5-0 record.

Kansas City’s featured one of the best defenses in the NFL through six weeks. They rank second in points allowed per play (0.261). They’re also allowing only 16.6 points per game this season.

The Chiefs have benefited from their schedule, though. They’ve held the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers to only 26 points. Each of these teams has shown broken offenses, though.

They’ve also given up a total of 57 points to the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders in 2026. The Raiders have quietly featured an outstanding offense this season, while the Colts have been relatively average.

This is a situation where Kansas City likely isn’t as good as their metrics suggest. They’ve benefited from playing the two worst offenses in the NFL, and the Broncos haven’t been much
better.

On the other side, we’ve seen mixed results from this Seattle offense. They currently rank 12th in the NFL in points per play (0.391). They’re averaging 24.7 points per game through six games.

Chiefs vs. Seahawks Picks

Our Current Best Offers

We’ve seen the Seahawks score 29+ points in four of their six games. They’ve also been shut down by the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, who boast outstanding defenses.

Arguably the biggest key for Seattle is that they’re playing at home. They’re averaging a healthy 0.434 points per play at home compared to only 0.357 on the road. It’s clear that their offense is better in Seattle.

This is a perfect spot where we can back the Seahawks offense in their ideal situation. We can also fade the Chiefs defense, which feels a bit overrated at the moment.

Although I don’t expect Kansas City to become one of the worst defenses in the NFL, they also don’t fully look elite. They’ve struggled against the competent offenses they’ve played, while dominating some of the worst in the NFL.

The Seahawks haven’t looked as good as they were last season, and the major issue is their lack of a running game, but they still boast plenty of talent on that side of the ball.
