On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks improved to 3-1 on the young 2026 NFL season with a comfortable home win over the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 30-23, although it really wasn't that close. The Seahawks' defense was impressive throughout this one, and that unit still has another key player waiting in the wings in former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Arnold is currently on the Commissioner's Exmempt list due to his ongoing legal case, which got a big update on Monday afternoon.

“So this is probably not good news for ex-Lions CB Terrion Arnold: Another co-defendant in his case, Boakai Hilton, pleaded guilty in court today and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is required to testify against Arnold as part of his plea agreement,” reported Dave Birkett on X, formerly Twitter.

Indeed, it certainly wouldn't appear to be a positive turn of events for Arnold, who was arrested this offseason on felony charges of kidnapping and armed robbery in Florida, shortly after which he was released by the Lions.

He was signed by the Seahawks in August amid uncertainty about his playing status, although he has yet to play a game for Seattle due to being placed on the exempt list.

It could still be a while before any final resolution is reached on his legal case, but Monday's update certainly doesn't seem to be a good one for his chances of playing anytime soon.

In any case, the Seahawks will next hit the field next Sunday for a big home game against the undefeated divisional rival San Francisco 49ers.
