The New Orleans Saints absorbed a lopsided defeat to the Atlanta Falcons, 45-24, at Caesars Superdome on Monday to fall to 1-3, including 0-2 at home.
It appeared that the painful loss could be extra costly after Chris Olave limped off the field following a big hit in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.
Fortunately, it was nothing serious for Olave, according to The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov.
“Olave appeared to be fine during postgame handshakes,” wrote Meirov on X.
Article Continues BelowTo be clear, it was simply Meirov's observation, and the Saints have not given any update on the 26-year-old wide receiver as of this writing.
Olave had team-highs of eight receptions and 116 receiving yards.
He was bothered by a hamstring issue in Week 2.
More details to come.
