Packers head coach Matt LaFleur rejected the idea of making a change at offensive line coach after Thursday night’s loss to the Falcons, but the team is making a change to the makeup of that group.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that they are going to sign guard Laken Tomlinson off of the Cowboys’ practice squad. Tomlinson has not appeared in any games for Dallas this season.
Tomlinson played in 10 games and made seven starts for the Texans last season. He previously started 155 games for the Seahawks, Jets, 49ers and Lions.
The Packers ran nine times for 17 yards in the loss to the Falcons and they’ve dealt with a number of injuries up front, including a season-ending torn patellar tendon for right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele.
