The Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and are hoping to have Lamar Jackson back in the lineup. Jackson returned to Ravens practice this week after missing the last two games.

Now, an update provided by Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle makes it sound like Jackson may not be ready to return, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

“We're certainly excited about the direction he's heading. He's still got a lot of work to do in order to be able to play on Sunday, but he's really working at it behind the scenes,” Doyle said. “You know, it's great having him in the meeting room, but it's another thing being able ot have him out there on the field with us, continuing to push, and his teammates see him push. Really excited about the opprotunity for him, and if it's not him, continue to roll, and we are ready to go.”
