The Los Angeles Rams battled the Buffalo Bills late in the fourth quarter in hopes of tying the game up late, with Puka Nacua living up to his top fantasy billing for Week 5. Nacua had 15 catches for 112 yards and one touchdown on a day when Davante Adams also looked impressive.
Nacua passed Julio Jones with his big performance on Monday Night Football as fans watched on. He passed Jones for fourth most receiving yards all-time in a player's first 50 games according to NFL+.
The game included an impressive early touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams that got Sean McVay's team going. Stafford had one of his better statistical days in a Rams uniform as he had over 330 yards and three touchdown passes at the end of regulation, during which he once again showed off the clutch skills that have made him a future Hall-of-Famer.
Article Continues BelowPeyton Manning chimed in on the broadcast with a unique way for Rams offensive coordinator Nathan Scheelhaase to generate offense. Stafford continued to channel his inner Manning as he took control of the game, throwing perfect touch passes throughout the night and looking like one of the NFL's best quarterbacks yet again on a prime time stage.
The Rams tied the game at 34 points each as time wound down on regulation, as it looked like Nacua, Stafford and the Rams would get more time to pull out a victory at SoFi Stadium.
