The Las Vegas Raiders appear ready to keep Maxx Crosby despite renewed speculation ahead of the NFL trade deadline. The star defensive end remains committed to the franchise, while recent reports suggested trade discussions were losing momentum.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Las Vegas has no current plans to trade Crosby before the November 10 deadline. The Raiders have not discussed a potential deal with another team this season.

One source made Crosby's intentions particularly clear in Schefter's latest report.

“Maxx absolutely does not want to leave Las Vegas under any circumstances,” the source said. “His hope, though not in his full control, is that he remains a Raider for life.”

The development represents a significant shift from the offseason, when Crosby nearly joined the Baltimore Ravens. Las Vegas agreed to trade him for two first-round picks before Baltimore backed out following concerns about his physical.

Despite that experience, Crosby has maintained his commitment to the Raiders. His previous comments about the failed Ravens trade also reflected his desire to move forward in Las Vegas.

The Raiders entered Sunday's matchup against the New York Jets at 3-4 after losing four consecutive games. However, their struggles have not prompted management to shop Crosby.

Interested teams could still contact Las Vegas before the deadline, but the organization reportedly has little interest in reopening negotiations.

For now, Crosby and the Raiders appear aligned on his future. Another blockbuster trade remains theoretically possible, but neither side is pushing for one.

His continued presence would also give Las Vegas a proven defensive leader as the organization works toward building a more competitive roster.
