The Las Vegas Raiders could soon welcome their biggest offensive weapon back to the field. According to reports, tight end Brock Bowers could make his 2026 debut in Week 3. That's when Las Vegas travels to face the New Orleans Saints. Bowers underwent a minor meniscus trim on his left knee shortly before the regular season began. That forced him to miss the opener against Miami and Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

However, his recovery appears to be progressing ahead of schedule. That's after he returned to practice on a limited basis late in the week. If Bowers continues progressing without setbacks, the Raiders could have their dynamic mismatch weapon back sooner than initially expected. His return would provide a major boost to Klint Kubiak’s offense. That's particularly true with Michael Mayer and Ashton Jeanty already contributing in the passing game. Bowers’ ability to attack the middle of the field would create additional opportunities for Tre Tucker on the perimeter. It should also give Kirk Cousins another reliable option in critical situations.

Las Vegas enters Week 2 with significant momentum following a 27–13 victory over Miami. That gave Kubiak his first career win as an NFL head coach. Jeanty totaled 147 yards from scrimmage and two receiving touchdowns. Cousins threw three touchdown passes. Defensively, Maxx Crosby and Kwity Paye helped the front record five sacks. The Raiders now face Justin Herbert and the Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Bowers’ potential Week 3 return provides another reason for optimism. If the tight end continues his accelerated recovery, Las Vegas could soon add its most dangerous offensive chess piece to an attack already finding its rhythm.
