Raheem Sterling has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving after crashing his Lamborghini Urus on the M3 in May.
The former England international appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
It followed his arrest in Hampshire on May 28 for crashing into motorway barriers on the M3 before being charged last month.
Sterling also admitted to possessing nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The 31-year-old was in possession of six canisters of the Class C drug nitrous oxide at the time of the accident.
He has pleaded guilty to driving dangerously on the M25, M3, A327 and Minley Road prior to the crash.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, with no injuries reported.
The crash occurred heading southbound on the M3 close to the Minley interchange.
Sterling is currently without a club after leaving Feyenoord this summer.
The winger joined the Dutch club on a deal until the end of the season in February.
He made eight appearances during his time in the Netherlands, providing one assist.
His arrival came after Chelsea terminated Sterling's contract in January following three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.
During his career, Sterling has made 396 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Across those matches, he has scored 123 goals and added 75 assists as well as winning four league titles with City.
The forward also won the FA Cup, Community Shield and five League Cups during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
Sterling has also scored 20 goals in 82 caps for England since making his debut aged 17 in 2012.
However, he has not featured for the Three Lions since the 2022 World Cup.
Away from football, Sterling was awarded an MBE in the Queen's 2021 Birthday honours.
He was recognised for his services to Racial Equality in Sport.
Sterling has continually campaigned against racial injustice both on and off the pitch.
