The San Francisco Giants are nearly done with their disastrous 2026 season. San Francisco suffered another tough blow on Sunday, when it was announced that Rafael Devers' season is over.

“Rafael Devers is going on the IL with a core muscle injury. The Giants say he has been managing it for most of the year, but now he’ll see a specialist and it’s possible he needs surgery. Sounds very similar to the issue Matt Chapman had,” NBC Sports reported on X, formerly Twitter.

Devers finished his season with 98 RBIs. He also posted 36 home runs and 37 doubles this year.
