On Wednesday, the lights were turned out on the Atlanta Braves' 2026 season with a tough home loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLDS. The Braves will now enter an offseason filled with more questions than answers after some of their biggest-name players, headlined by Ronald Acuna Jr., struggled mightily to get anything going in this series.
Recently, Atlanta radio personality Chris Dimino weighed in on what the Braves' priority should be this offseason.
“Two guys are untouchable, Michael Harris and Drake Baldwin,” he said, per 680 The Fan on X, formerly Twitter.
Harris was the only consistent Braves hitter during the Dodgers series, once again showing up in Game 4, while Baldwin still theoretically has potential for growth after his strong season, despite a rough playoff showing.
This would mean that Dimino is more than open to exploring trade options for Acuna Jr., who saw his struggles in the playoffs continue in disappointing fashion this year, particularly in the matchup against the Dodgers, as the former league MVP registered just one hit in the entirety of that series.
Meanwhile, Matt Olson also continued a historical trend of playoff shortcomings in this series, not getting a hit in the decisive Game 4 loss, while Austin Riley also largely melted down in the playoffs, save for one epic home run in the Wild Card round vs the Philadelphia Phillies.
Article Continues BelowFunnily enough, the Braves' patchwork pitching unit, which was viewed by most to be the main reason to doubt them against the Dodgers, largely held up its end of the bargain in this series despite the vast amount of injuries sustained by that unit throughout the season.
Still, Braves fans clearly aren't opposed to the idea of the organization making some sweeping changes this offseason in order to give themselves a better chance of finding success in October.
