The glorious 2026 MLB season of Chicago Cubs star outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong continues.

The favorite to win the National League Most Valuable Player Award further strengthened his case by setting a new franchise record with a big swing in the third inning.

Crow-Armstrong lifted a 376-foot solo home run (his 43rd dinger of the season) off Atlanta Braves starter JR Ritchie, extending the Cubs' lead to 3-0 at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

More than that, Crow-Armstrong's blast set a new franchise record for most home runs hit in a season by a lefty.
