A familiar face was at Soldier Field on Sunday, as Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs watched the Chicago Bears beat the New York Jets, 23-12.
Playing in their second game without Caleb Williams, who is week-to-week due to a hamstring injury, the Bears leaned on their defense to improve to 3-1. They limited the Jets to only 157 yards and seven first downs.
On offense, Kyle Monangai was impressive, tallying 30 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Tyson Bagent, meanwhile, got the start over Case Keenum, going 25-of-34 for 268 yards and one interception.
The Bears did not disappoint Crow-Armstrong, who sported the perfect jersey and had a brief encounter with Matt Forte.

While the Bears continued their strong start, Crow-Armstrong saw his campaign come to a bitter end after the San Diego Padres swept the Cubs in their wild-card series.
The 24-year-old center fielder was tied for the most dingers in the NL with 45. He had 175 hits, 119 runs, and 107 RBIs in 162 games.
PCA grew up as a proud supporter of the Bears, inheriting his dad's fandom. He has attended multiple games at Soldier Field, developing a close friendship with Williams, who, in turn, has cheered for the Cubs several times at Wrigley Field. In January, they watched the Chicago Blackhawks together at United Center.
Crow-Armstrong and Williams have bonded over their shared experience of trying to bring a championship to the Windy City.
The Cubs have not advanced to the World Series since 2016, while the Bears have not been to the Super Bowl since 2007.
