The Patriots ruled out several players for Sunday’s game against the Raiders, including a pair of starters in their secondary.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said on Friday that cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis will both miss the game. It’s the second straight game Gonzalez will miss with a shoulder injury while Davis is sidelined by a neck injury.

Vrabel also said cornerbacks Karon Prunty and Channing Canada will miss the game with hamstring injuries, so the Patriots may do some roster maneuvering to fill out the position group.

Wide receiver Mack Hollins (calf) and fullback Reggie Gilliam (ankle, knee) are the players who will miss the game on the other side of the ball. Hollins’s absence should give Efton Chism a chance to build off his game-winning touchdown catch in Week 4.
