After a rough start to the season, the New England Patriots appear to have hit their stride. After beating the Jets 26-19 in Week 6, the Patriots have won three games in a row and have a 4-2 record in the AFC East.

The visiting Jets pushed the Patriots hard, but the New England defense was able to make key plays when it needed to.

Jets quarterback Geno Smith tried to keep his team in the game as he completed 20 of 30 passes for 252 yards with 1 TD and 1 interception. However, his production did not compare with Patriots QB Drake Maye. He completed 18 of 32 passes for 235 yards with 3 TDs and no interceptions. Maye's TD passes went to DeMario Douglas, Romeo Doubs and Hunter Henry.

Smith was sacked three times in the game, and one of the sacks was the result of Milton Williams breaking through the protection and stopping Smith.

Williams met with the media after the game and he explained what it was like to play for a demanding and hard-core coach like Mike Vrabel. He spoke bluntly and in a way that may lead to a private conversation between Williams and the Patriots' head coach.

“Y'all know Vrabes man, he's a a**hole, he gon' be an a**hole and that's how he is, but I wouldn't have it no other way,” Williams said, per NESN. “He challenges us week in, week out, day in, day out. And I think that is going to continue to just help us get better and better as the year goes on.”
