The Carolina Panthers are dealing with the injury bug early in the season, and there's a chance it won't get any better by the time they face off against the Detroit Lions. On the other hand, there is a chance some of the players listed on the injury report will suit up. One of those players happens to be Jalen Coker, who is questionable to play with a quad injury.

Monroe Freeling, Lee Hunter and Cam Jackson are the other players listed as questionable against the Lions. Xavier Legette and Damien Lewis have already been ruled out for the matchup.

The hope is that all of the questionable players suit up, and they're going to need all hands on deck against a Lions team that can score a lot of points. The Panthers already won't have their top two cornerbacks, Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson Jr., as they've been placed on injured reserve, and it will be the next-man-up mentality in the secondary.

After their huge win against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, the Panthers dropped a close game to the Cleveland Browns last week. They weren't able to get much going on offense, and the defense wasn't able to stop the Browns' game-winning drive in the end.

Now, the Panthers will be looking to get back on track, but with all the injuries they're dealing with on both sides of the ball, it's going to be a battle for them.

It'll be interesting to see how they come together this week, and hopefully, the injuries to some of their players won't have them sidelined for an extended period of time.
