Bryce Young isn't reading too much into the last meeting between the Carolina Panthers and the Green Bay Packers in 2025, as his team prepares for another meeting with Jordan Love and company at Lambeau Field this Sunday.
Nearly a year since Young and the Panthers stunned Green Bay on the road in a Week 9 16-13 victory in the 2025 campaign, the Carolina quarterback said, “It’s a new year, a new season,” referring to the upcoming game in Titletown, via Sheena Quick of FOX Sports Radio1340.
Still, that win against the Packers last season is a notable story to look back on for the Panthers.
In that game, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star passed for 102 yards with zero touchdowns and an interception on an 11-of-20 pass completions. It wasn't exactly a sparkling performance for Young, as the Panthers leaned more on their rushing attack and defense to take care of business.
Running back Rico Dowdle, who's now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, led the Panthers' attack in that contest with 130 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. Carolina's stop unit allowed 369 total yards to the Packers, but Green Bay also went just 1-of-5 in the red zone.

The Panthers are 3-3, still the best in their division, and a statement win against Green Bay would give Carolina a nice morale boost as the seasons goes deeper and positioning in the standings becomes more crucial.
