The Green Bay Packers let their performance do most of the talking against the Chicago Bears. However, Zaire Franklin had plenty to say after Sunday’s emphatic 31-7 victory at Lambeau Field. Following a week of trash talk, including Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III declaring Chicago wanted to make Green Bay quit, the Packers linebacker fired back after his team forced five turnovers and limited its rivals to just seven points. Franklin specifically called out Burden, suggesting the receiver failed to back up his words.

“He quit today. He didn’t wanna play no more,” Franklin said bluntly.
The Packers captain then broadened his criticism to Chicago’s approach to the rivalry. He accused the Bears of spending too much energy worrying about Green Bay.
“They do a whole lot of weird stuff. Since I been here, they do a whole lot of stuff that they worried about us. We worried about ourselves,” Franklin said. “Hopefully they learn to stop dissing us. Real talk.”
Article Continues BelowChristian Watson, meanwhile, delivered his own response on the field, torching Chicago for 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
“We definitely flipped that on their head,” Watson said.
Green Bay’s 3-2 start has featured its share of turbulence, including a Week 1 divisional loss and a 35-14 home defeat to Atlanta in Week 3. However, Matt LaFleur’s squad responded with a narrow 17-14 win over Tampa Bay before dismantling Chicago. Jordan Love and Watson have helped energize the offense. Their defense’s five takeaways showcased its growing ability to disrupt opponents. Despite injuries and personnel changes, the Packers have regained momentum at a crucial point in the NFC North race. Franklin’s message was unmistakable: Green Bay would rather win the rivalry than talk about it.
