On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers hit the road for a game against the New York Jets, looking to pick up their first win of the season. The Packers and Jets were in a defensive struggle throughout most of the afternoon, with the two teams finding themselves tied at 7-7 heading into the locker room for halftime.

In the second half, the team got a notable update regarding offensive lineman Aaron Banks.

“#Packers LG Aaron Banks' return is questionable because of a toe injury, which is different than the knee he's been dealing with,” reported NFL insider Ryan Wood of USA Today on X, formerly Twitter.

Banks is a key member of the Packers' offensive line, and as Wood mentioned, he had been dealing with a knee injury prior to the game that had some questioning his status vs the Jets.

Meanwhile, Wood also noted that “DT Anthony Campbell is questionable to return because of a knee injury.”

Overall, the Packers could certainly use a win on Sunday after a tough loss in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings that saw them squander a double-digit lead and ultimately lose in inexplicable blowout fashion.

If Banks is unable to return, or sees his status affected going forward, it certainly wouldn't be good news for the Packers' offense, especially considering that Green Bay has a short week coming up.

After the Jets game, the Packers will next hit the field on Thursday evening at home vs the Atlanta Falcons. That game is set to kick off shortly after 8:00 pm ET.
